Chicamocha Canyon - Short Option

This epic full day tour takes you right into the depths of the Chicamocha Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. We travel from the top of the canyon right to the bottom, approximately 2,000m (6,600ft) of elevation, in a thrilling 15 kilometer descent to Jordan, the town known as the “Lost Paradise” of Colombia. During the descent we’ll stop at the magical Howler Monkey Waterfalls which is also a great place for a dip for those who want to cool off! In Jordan you’ll learn about the interesting history of the town, ride across a suspension bridge that was once Colombia’s first toll road and enjoy local snacks and refreshments. You will have some free time to explore before returning to Barichara by car.
